The Animal Protective League (APL) will hold several pet adoptions during June with cats and dogs available at various locations. All animals presented by APL for have been spayed or neutered, microchipped and have received all vaccinations by the time of their adoption.
Adoptions will be held:
· Saturday, June 3 –– Cats and dogs will be available for adoption in our Mobile Pet Adoption Center from 11:00 a.m. until 3 p.m. at County Market,3001 S. Veterans Parkway, Springfield; cats will available from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. dogs will be available from noon until 3 p.m. at PetSmart, 3183 South Veterans Parkway, Springfield.
· Sunday, June 4 – Cats and dogs will be available for adoption in our Mobile Pet Adoption Center from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the First Sunday Midwest Bazaar at the Menard County Fairgrounds, 18450 Fairgrounds St., Petersburg; cats will be available from noon until 4 p.m. and dogs will be available from noon until 3 p.m. at PetSmart.
· Saturday, June 10 – Cats and dogs will be available for adoption in our Mobile Pet Adoption Center from 11:00 a.m. until 3 p.m. at County Market,1099 Jason Pl., Chatham; cats will available from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. dogs will be available from noon until 3 p.m. at PetSmart.
· Sunday June 11 – Cats will be available from noon until 4 p.m. and dogs will be available from noon until 3 p.m. at PetSmart.
· Saturday, June 17 – Cats will available from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. dogs will be available from noon until 3 p.m. at PetSmart
· Sunday, June 18 – Cats will be available from noon until 4 p.m. and dogs available from noon until 3 p.m. at PetSmart
· Saturday, June 24 – Cats and dogs will be available for adoption in our Mobile Pet Adoption Center from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Farm and Home Supply, 3030 Wabash Ave as part of our Junior Volunteer car wash fundraiser; cats will available from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. dogs will be available from noon until 3 p.m. at PetSmart
· Sunday, June 25 – Cats will be available from noon until 4 p.m. and dogs will be available from noon until 3 p.m. at PetSmart.
Dogs and cats are available for adoption daily from noon until 5 p.m. at the shelter located at 1001 Taintor Rd., Springfield.
APL, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to assisting ill, injured and abandoned homeless animals, runs an animal shelter which is open every day from noon to 5 p.m. for adoptions. APL also coordinates cruelty investigations and humane education programs. APL also operates a low cost spay/neuter clinic adjacent to its Springfield shelter.
