Seven second-year nursing students from Lincoln Land Community College’s Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program were inducted recently into the Beta Nu Chapter of the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (OADN) Alpha Delta Nu Honor Society. The students had to maintain stringent academic requirements and complete a capstone community education project to be eligible for membership.

Students were honored at a special ceremony at the LLCC-Springfield campus. The students received a certificate, an Alpha Delta Nu Honor Society pin and peach honor cords to wear at commencement. The co-advisors are LLCC nursing professors Mary Goldstein and Pamela Bradley, DNP.

Dr. Bradley congratulated the inductees, stating: “The nursing students who are inducted have met stringent guidelines throughout their nursing education in Lincoln Land Community College’s associate degree program. In addition, while maintaining a strong commitment and dedication to their studies, they have achieved academic excellence and displayed professionalism and integrity both in the classroom and clinical arena. They are truly a group of nursing students worthy of bearing the title ‘honor students.’ These students have displayed outstanding behavior and professionalism.”
