Prospective students interested in starting or restarting college or training for a new career are invited to Campus Visit Day at Lincoln Land Community College on Columbus Day, Monday, Oct. 14. The free event will be held at the LLCC Springfield campus, 5250 Shepherd Road, with two sessions scheduled, 10 a.m.-noon and 5-7 p.m.

“Whether you want to earn an academic transfer degree or get training to enter right into the workforce, visit LLCC on Campus Visit Day to explore our excellent, affordable opportunities and our personalized services that help students succeed,” says LLCC President Charlotte Warren, Ph.D.

The event provides information on how to enroll and pay for college, presentations by current students, and a tour that includes classrooms, student services and the library. Visitors are invited to view exhibits and speak with LLCC representatives, take a short career assessment, apply for admission and get assistance with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Refreshments will feature baked goods from LLCC Culinary Arts.
