September 14, 2017: Durango, CO – Retail candy and specialty toy franchiser, Fuzziwig’s Candy Factory, Inc. announces new Master Franchise Agreement. Fuzziwig’s Candy Factory President, Kayo Folsom, stated on Wednesday, “I am excited to announce that we have entered into a Master Franchise Agreement with SCHEELS All Sports Inc.” SCHEELS All Sports has positioned themselves as the world’s largest selection of sports, fashion, and footwear.
The Master Franchise details the first three stores to be open over the next year and a half, with the first location to open in Springfield, IL on October 16th, 2017 with a Grand Opening celebration on October 27th, 2017. The second store will be in Lincoln, NE in late spring of 2018, with the final store to open in Eden Prairie, MN opening early 2019.
SCHEELS started out in 1902 as a small hardware and general merchandise store in Sabin, Minnesota. As locations grew, so did their selection. As stated on SCHEELS website, “SCHEELS started adding a small selection of sporting goods to their stores in 1954.” In 1989, SCHEELS’ opened their first Superstore in Grand Forks, ND.

A special Grand Opening Celebration is planned with Chamber Ribbon cutting at 4:45 pm on Friday, October 27. FREE Face-painting, Balloon Art, prizes and grand opening deals will be happening from 5pm-7pm that evening.
