The Hoogland Center for the Arts is pleased to present Pump Boys and Dinettes.

The hardworking fellas at the gas station have been known to do some auto repairs‚ but only when aided by some great tunes and a few beers. Next door there’s the Double Cupp Diner‚ where the Cupp sisters offer up their famous home cooking and gift for song. Together they fashion an evening of stories and country songs that will have you stompin’ and yellin’ for more. With heartache and hilarity, they perform the stories of their lives on guitars, piano, bass and – believe it or not – kitchen utensils. This musical is a celebration of life‚ love‚ Dolly Parton‚ and catfish!

Pump Boys and Dinettes features book, lyrics, and music by John Foley, Mark Hardwick, Debra Monk, Cass Morgan, John Schimmel and Jim Wann.

The Hoogland production is being directed by Joe-Michael Jackson, with musical direction by Kayla Primm. The cast includes Scott Lecocq as Jim, Albert Capati as Jackson, Mark Wheeler as L.M., Hope Cherry as Rhetta Cupp, Lindsey Rudd as Prudie Cupp, Blake Martin as Eddie, and Zachary Eymann on harmonica.
