The 88th Beaux Arts Ball will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019, beginning at 5:30 p.m., at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Springfield, Illinois. The Beaux Arts Ball is a unique, family-oriented fundraiser that honors the families who so graciously support the SAA with their time, talent and resources. King Ethan Scott Hunt and Queen Allie Rose Moffett and the Royal Court will preside over this year’s Ball. The premiere sponsor of this elegant evening is The Lowery-Muller Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC, and will feature the introduction of the Court, dinner, a silent auction featuring a variety of unique packages, Jewels on Ice by Denney Jewelers, presentation of the Golden Palette Awards, live music and dancing.

Allie Rose Moffett is the daughter of Lisa and Daniel Moffett. She attended Christ the King Grade School and later graduated from Sacred Heart-Griffin. Throughout her childhood, Allie participated in and looked forward to the SAA’s summer camps every year. She left Springfield to attend Butler University, located in Indianapolis, IN., to study strategic communication and business. During her time at Butler, Allie was a student orientation guide and advocate for community engagement. Both of these positions emphasized a focus on community and expansion of one’s surroundings, which are skills that she then utilized during her semester abroad in Florence, Italy. She has worked for Hamilton County tourism and Downtown Indy, Inc. as their public relations and marketing intern and has loved the opportunity to learn more about Indiana’s amazing local businesses and inspiring leaders. She will be interning for The Basement advertising agency in the spring as the account services intern and looks forward to jumping into the agency world. Allie’s fondest memories of the SAA include making gingerbread houses, participating in the Ghosts of Edwards Place, eating lunch with new friends around the buffalo statue, taking a pottery course with her mom and cuttin’ a rug at the Beaux Arts Ball with her brother, Will, and her Granny Allie. She is proud to represent her class in this important Springfield tradition, which allows citizens to learn about and enjoy the arts in so many ways, something very important to Allie. She plans to graduate from Butler in May and pursue a career in the Indianapolis area, as the community and opportunities she has had there have made her feel like an honorary Hoosier.
