Tickets for genHkids’ Annual Fundraiser, Savor are now available. The event will be held on Sunday, June 24th at 4:30 at Erin’s Pavilion (4965 S 2nd St, Springfield, IL 62703). Sponsorships for the event are also still available. The event will feature a kid’s cooking contest, The Hungry Games, a delicious, unique menu, and a live and silent auction.
Join us as we continue our movement to build a generation of Healthy kids through education, empowerment, improved nourishment and increased physical activity. All proceeds from Savor support programming conducted right here in Sangamon County.
genHkids is a local 501(c)(3) relying primarily on generous business and individual donors to support its program which encourage children and their families to Eat Real and Move More. The organization was founded in 2008, and their mission is “To create a generation of healthy kids through education, empowerment, improved nourishment and increased physical activity.” They have implemented programs in schools and community centers throughout Sangamon County, and requests for support and guidance are received regularly.
