Presented by STC, “Beyond the Beanstalk: You Don’t Know Jack” is an original play written by Gil Opferman. It is the story of a modern day family who has a Grandpa who comes to visit and loves to tell his grandkids the many tales of Jack. He tells four stories of Jack, one from each different stage in Jack’s life from a young teen to senior. These humorous, magical stories come alive on stage. There’s witches, kings, princes, princesses, flying ships, and a lot of surprises! The show is directed by Gil & Ann Opferman featuring a cast of children, teens and adults.
