The Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln has elected a new board member to join its board of directors in 2022. Steve Etheridge will each serve a four-year term as director.

Steve is the retired co-owner and CFO of the Henson Robinson Company where he applied practical financial and payroll knowledge to fulfill the mission of serving businesses and residents of central Illinois. Steve cares deeply about his community as he was also a Chatham Jaycee for several years. Additionally, he was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Men’s Club, a volunteer golf coach at Blessed Sacrament School, and he currently volunteers at St. Martin de Porres.

“The current board and staff of the Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln are thrilled to welcome Steve to our board of directors,” said John Stremsterfer, president and CEO of the Community Foundation. “Steve’s long history of volunteerism and leadership is a great asset to our community and will help further our mission to connect people who care with causes that matter.”

Other board members for 2022 include Allen Grosboll (chairperson), Tricia Nelson Becker, Jen DeJong, Jane Denes, Wendi El-Amin, Cynthia J. Lamar, Kent Massie, Kenyatta Revelle, Mark E. Staley, and Bruce E. Thompson.
