NOT ALL SUPERHEROES WEAR CAPES
Our needs are greater this year with the changes in educational programming in the schools brought on by Covid. Our traditional after-school program model has always run from 2:30-6:00 pm. Remote- only instruction requires us to keep all nine locations open from 7:30 am-5:30 pm, which will put a great strain on our budget. IT IS IMPORTANT TO US THAT WE DO ALL WE CAN to support our remote learners and allow families to keep working, knowing their child is safe and getting the educational support they need to thrive. HUNGRY KIDS DON’T THRIVE. This is why we are dedicated to combatting the food insufficiencies our members and community experience. We know that HUNGER DOESN’T TAKE THE WEEKEND OFF. To fill the gap that exists when the Club is closed, we provide Weekend Snack Backpacks which are sent home with our Club kids on Fridays.
