The first ever WILD Paws Fest is scheduled to take place at the Orr Building on the Illinois State Fairgrounds located at 801 E. Sangamon Avenue on June 8th with doors opening at 9:00 AM.

The WILD Paws Fest offers families many opportunities to support local non-profit canine rescue organizations with $5 admission/person, kids five and under are free. There are various activities planned like a microchip clinic, a rescue dog show from 12:00-2:00 PM, three amazing shows by the K9 Krew Disc Dog Team at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM (as seen on America’s Got Talent and Good Morning America), a bounce house, mooch-a-pooch, large vendor fair, Sip’n drool wine tasting, behavior demonstrations, a kid’s corner, face-
painting, the Brat Pack will perform from 5:00-8:00 PM. Food and beverages are also available for purchase.

The venue for the WILD Paws Fest was a gift from Grace Veterinary Clinic. “WILD Canine Rescue, The Helping Paw Project and C.A.R.T are so thankful to Grace Veterinary Clinic for their donation of this space for the WILD Paws Fest. This is not only a day for fun and festivities but a day to showcase the work that WILD, The Helping Paw Project and C.A.R.T have been able to accomplish in Central Illinois and beyond,” said Jill Egizii, President of WILD.
